Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager cum Scrum Lead to oversee software development projects and ensure the successful delivery of solutions in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will blend strong project management capabilities with Scrum methodology to guide cross-functional teams, ensure sprint goals are met, and align delivery with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end project life cycles from planning to delivery.
- Act as Scrum Lead for Agile teams: facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Designers, and Developers to ensure clear sprint goals and backlog grooming.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and remove impediments to team productivity.
- Manage project documentation including timelines, roadmaps, reports, and status updates.
- Handle stakeholder communications and ensure expectations are clearly managed and met.
- Implement project portfolio management tools and maintain team dashboards and trackers.
- Participate in sprint reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of team processes.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth integration and deployment (DevOps awareness is a plus).
- Work closely with BA teams to ensure BRDs are translated into actionable sprint stories.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager and Scrum Master or Scrum Lead.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Experience in sprint planning, backlog management, and velocity tracking.
- Knowledge of project portfolio management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and product development life cycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of BRD writing and user story mapping.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Scrum (CSM/PSM) or PMP/PRINCE2 is a plus.
- Experience working in IT/software product development environments.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
