Lacheeni is a dynamic and innovative clothing brand, working closely with fashion designers, institutes, and the apparel industry to create trendsetting designs. We are looking for a Coordinator to bridge communication between our brand, designers, and fashion institutes.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Buying

  • Revenue Performance: Procure engaging, revenue-generating fashion products aligned with brand goals.
  • Product Selection: Source and select quality fabrics, garments, and fashion accessories to enhance market appeal.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and timely deliveries.
  • Stock & Inventory Control: Oversee stock selection, track inventory levels, and ensure optimal stock availability without overstocking.
  • Market & Trend Analysis: Align procurement strategies with seasonal trends and consumer demand.

Fashion Design & Development

  • Creative Designing: Develop original clothing designs, ensuring they reflect market trends and brand identity.
  • Research & Innovation: Stay updated on emerging fashion trends, color palettes, fabrics, and design techniques.
  • Sketching & Illustrations: Create detailed design concepts, technical drawings, mood boards, and fabric selections.
  • Production Coordination: Oversee the creation of tech packs, collaborate with pattern makers and sample developers, and ensure design feasibility for production.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure consistency in design, fit, and garment construction, maintaining high standards for the final product.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor product performance using data insights and analyze procurement effectiveness.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports to guide informed decision-making on stock levels, design trends, and financial performance.

Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Work closely with merchandising, marketing, and production teams to ensure smooth execution of design and procurement processes.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement in both procurement and design workflows.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior designers, sharing insights and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in procurement, stock management, or fashion design.
  • Prior experience in womenswear or childrenswear (preferred).

Technical Skills:

  • Fashion Design Software: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD programs.
  • Garment Construction: Strong knowledge of fabric types, production processes, and pattern making.
  • Data Proficiency: Ability to analyze procurement data and track product performance.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills for vendor management.
  • A team player with the ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for fashion.
