 Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee our bank's financial records and transactions. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in accounting operations, maintain regulatory compliance, and support overall financial health and reporting within the bank.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update general ledger and financial statements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Handle bank reconciliations and ensure accurate entries of all transactions.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist in budget preparation and expense management.
  • Verify and process loan disbursements and interest calculations.
  • Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal financial policies.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and classify them appropriately.
  • Reconcile discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly.

 Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory frameworks (e.g., RBI guidelines, GST, TDS, etc.).
  • Proficient in accounting software (Tally, MS Excel, or ERP systems).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

 Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in handling audits (internal or external).
  • Understanding of banking operations and financial instruments.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Must Have
